Advertising placement for business owners, coaches, consultants, creatives, entrepreneurs, and CEOs who want to grow their audience through aligning with a community of people who are starting a business, growing a business, or seeking guidance on living a creative entrepreneurial lifestyle.
This is you if you:
- Don’t have the time, resources, or expertise to create and manage a successful blog
- Want to supplement your content
- Are ready to reach a new audience
- You don’t have a big community of your own yet
- Align yourself with women in business whose ideas you agree with / advocate for
- Like alternative options to advertising
Aligning vs Creating
Advertising your business on this blog is about aligning versus creating. You get all of the benefits of original creative work without having to actually do any of it. It’s also much easier to promote someone else and not always be focused on self-promotion. It’s like when you’re speaking highly of someone else, it reflects on you in a positive way and makes peoples remember you as being not self-centered, but instead, being kind, gracious, and generous with your promotion of someone else.
The truth is that even though you’re advocating for someone else by sharing their work, you’re actually involved at the end of the post with your ad that says, “This post was brought to you by “your business name” with a picture of you / your product” and links to your website and social media.
You don’t have to do everything
Play to your strengths! If you’re not obsessed with writing and passionate about blogging – don’t do it! It will never be as brilliant as someone who dedicates years to mastering the skill and lives to write. And you don’t have to be. We all have different forms of genius. Focus on yours and complement your skill set by aligning with others who do things that you don’t do or who also do what you do in their unique way.
Leveraging for a win-win
You get to leverage my audience by placing yourself in a prime position on a screen where you’ll be seen AND you get to leverage my content to grow your own audience interaction. It’s a partnership and a good exchange or win-win for both parties.
If you feel aligned with my values, but don’t want to create weekly blogs, you could place ads in more than one blog (like quarterly placements) and leverage multiple powerful pieces as your own. Each blog ultimately links back to you.
(side note: chatGPT suggests that quarterly placements are the most original idea in this blog as a way to leverage powerful content and build relationships with influencers and thought leaders in an industry.)
Your Public Endorsement
Word of mouth and referrals are two of the best ways to attract new clients and customers to grow your business. If you are selected to place your business ad on my blog, it is your virtual stamp of approval that I endorse your business as one that’s worthwhile, valuable, and relevant. I am literally attaching my name with yours. Because of this, I am super selective about who gets to place an ad on this blog. We need to have aligned values and have worked together before or know each other very well so that I can vouch for you. This part isn’t business, it’s personal. And there are certain products and services that I do not align myself with for a variety of reasons. My blog is my baby so I take special care of it. So please note that I reserve all rights to say no even if you want to advertise here. I need to ensure it will benefit my community. But, chances are, if you’re here and reading this, then you do resonate with me and we are aligned. I doubt you’d be reading this post if you weren’t! So I’m guessing, we’d be a complementary combination like chocolate and coffee – a mocha match!
